We are the next generation of Disability Supports

The action of including our clients in all decisions relating to their supports, no matter the functionality, is paramount in working inclusively with our clients and their families. We also pride ourselves on challenging mainstream services and business houses to ensure they are supported in being inclusive of people with Disabilities to promote inclusiveness amongst the broader community.

LBWS has built our reputation based on one major value, Respect. We ensure that whilst contributing to the sector, we are the example of respect, in many ways. We actively acknowledge and embrace our clients and their stories. Through respecting our clients Disabilities as well as their cultural, religious and philosophical beliefs. This enables us to provide holistic and personable supports.

In a new generation of Disability Supports Scheme, we believe strongly in the importance of Collaboration and transparency. We embrace multidisciplinary supports as well as incorporate fellow providers and their strengths to provide supports based on the needs of our clients. By using a collaborative approach, we no longer work off an older model (bulk funding) approach, instead, we promote choice and control for clients to use services best suited to reach each of their individual goals.

We believe in all of our clients being valued members of the community. We see our clients contributing to the economy and based on basic community membership, we honour the dignity of our clients by embracing their abilities to contribute and actively be a participating consumer.

Our role and responsibility as a new Generation of support is heavily focused around capacity building, for both clients and their families. We are constantly taking the time to slow down and empower our clients with knowledge of the NDIS and the choice and control available to clients and their carers.

Every minute working with clients and their carers, is an opportunity to educate and empower. We work closely with allied health professionals to successfully embrace these moments to support clients to learn new skills and build independence.
